IU Cares Food Cupboard

The Food Cupboard is open to all students at Immaculata, regardless of need level. The pantry is an anonymous resource you can use whenever you need it.

No appointment is necessary, and walk-ins are encouraged and welcomed at any time during the hours of operation.

Who can use IU Cares?

All IU students can use the food cupboard.

What kinds of items/food does the pantry offer?

IU Cares regularly stocks non-perishable food items. Often times you can also find personal items or household supplies.

How is food distributed?

The pantry functions much like a grocery store. Food is stacked on shelves, and you can walk through the pantry and select the items you want. An anonymous volunteer will record the items and weight of food for internal tracking purposes.

How often can a student use the pantry?

Students can use the pantry as frequently as needed. Our goal is to reduce food insecurity in the Immaculata community.
